The house came first.
The hotel came second.
How a private home in Lekki Phase 1 became a six-suite residence kept small, kept quiet, and only ever opened by enquiry.
Not a hotel.
A house.
Adé House was built in 2024 as a private home for the family of a Nigerian shipping executive. After two years of low occupancy and frequent requests from friends-of-friends asking to stay during Lagos visits, the family made a decision: convert the residence into a six-suite stay-only house. Keep the kitchen private. Keep the staff. Keep the silence.
We opened to guests in early 2026. We will never exceed six suites.
There is no reception desk. There is no buffet. There is a chef who learns your preferences before you arrive, and a house manager who treats your stay as the only one in the diary.
Four ways the house
takes care of you.
The Kitchen
Two-meal table d'hôte daily by Chef Tunde Lawal, former sous chef at Nok by Alara. Private dining for groups of up to twelve.
The Concierge
Discreet, 24-hour, by message or by phone. Restaurant reservations, airport transfers, Lagos itineraries last-minute everything.
The Spa Room
On-call therapists for in-suite massage, facials, and wellness rituals using Nigerian botanical products.
The House Car
A private driver and SUV on retainer during your stay. Available for the duration, not the trip.
